Job Title: Actuarial Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- The Actuarial Analyst would help in the current conversion from MG Triton to Prophet 360 for valuation, and from Prophet NAUS to Prophet 360 for projections.
- Review and document existing model structure, assumptions, and custom code used in Prophet NAUS.
- Identify features or elements that may require changes or enhancements during migration ‘Conversion to Prophet 360’
- Rebuild or convert Prophet NAUS models into Prophet 360-compliant formats, ensuring fidelity of projections and calculations.
- Implement best practices aligned with Prophet 360’s architecture and modeling conventions ‘Testing and Validation’
- Perform parallel runs between old and new environments to validate results.
- Resolve discrepancies, optimize model performance, and ensure consistency in output.
- Merge documented change requirements from other actuarial teams into Prophet models.
- Support ongoing maintenance of Prophet 360 and NAUS models.
- Implement consistency and best practices across Prophet libraries.
- Assist with library updates as needed.
- Contribute to regression testing and the master model release process.
- Preparing and reviewing financial reporting deliverables under US GAAP.
- Working with actuarial modeling tools (e.g., Prophet, DCS) to support life insurance product development and valuation.
- Validating model assumptions and analyzing their impact on financial reserves.
- Performing user acceptance testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of model updates.
- Conducting cash flow validations for new insurance products, ensuring compliance with regulatory.
Technical Skills
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Prophet (libraries like Prophet 360 and ALS).
- Strong skills with Excel.
- Understanding of cash flow modeling, reserves, and ALM concepts.
