- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong foundation in Python scripting for data processing and automation.
- Expertise in AWS data analytics services including Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, and S3, with a solid understanding of AWS Data Lake architectures.
- Advanced SQL skills for complex data analysis, reporting, and performance optimization across large datasets.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret data, identify trends, and support business decision-making through actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and deliver data solutions.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, and operations, to ensure data integrity and alignment with business goals.
- Knowledge of the insurance domain (e.g., claims, policies, Actuarial processes) is a significant advantage.
- Commitment to data quality and governance, with experience in building robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines.
